The Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) and Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E), subsidiaries of PPL Corporation, have proposed the construction of the Lisle Avenue Operations Center in Lexington, Kentucky. This new facility is designed to consolidate existing operations, enhancing efficiency and service reliability for customers in the region. The project includes the development of a modern operations facility, a warehouse, and an outdoor storage yard, all aimed at supporting the utilities’ commitment to providing safe and reliable energy services. The Kentucky Public Service Commission has reviewed the proposal, recognizing it as a necessary extension to meet the growing demands of the service area.

Calhoun is completing this new Tilt Wall facility for KU with containment areas, a PEMB garage and large site import.
