The West-Terminal Area Vestibule at the Jerry E. Abramson Terminal of Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) was part of the broader “SDF Next Program” multi-year renovation strategy led by the Louisville Regional Airport Authority. Specifically, this vestibule improvement project undertook a complete remodeling of the far-west entrance/exit in the baggage claim and curbside pickup zone, designed to better accommodate taxis, rideshare services (e.g., Uber & Lyft), and general passenger flow. By revitalizing this area, the terminal sought to enhance first-impression functionality, streamline traffic movement at the curb, and improve accessibility for arriving and departing passengers.  Calhoun was excited to partner on this project with the Louisville Regional Airport Authority.
