The UofL Health University Lab is a vital part of UofL Health’s cutting-edge medical services, specializing in advanced diagnostic testing and medical research. Calhoun Construction Services is currently modifying the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) elements in the existing Lab Automation room at UofL Health Hospital to accommodate the installation of a new, cutting-edge automation lab testing line. Calhoun’s work will provide the necessary infrastructure to support the advanced testing capabilities of the automation line, enabling improved workflow, faster processing times, and enhanced lab efficiency. By precisely coordinating with hospital staff and minimizing disruptions, Calhoun is helping UofL Health Hospital remain at the forefront of medical innovation.

During this project, we will be adding power and data into a conference room at UofL Health to give the client the ability to use this room as a temporary validation room to calibrate and test new equipment going into the lab.
