Calhoun was hired in an advisory role to oversee, manage, and support the University in all aspects of project development on approximately 130 individual projects part of the Asset Preservation program, from design into prime construction award, including:

• Project definition and feasibility
• Budget review and cost estimating
• Project selection, prioritization, and scheduling
• Constructability guidance
• Design consultant selection
• Project scope development
• Review of design and construction documents
• Project deployment for bid packages, procurement and evaluating bid

In the first year, over $73 million of project funding had been committed to approximately 105 projects in design, procurement, or construction phases.  Projects included MEP upgrades, finish improvements, life safety improvements, etc.
