The new Louisville Metro Police Department Headquarters requires a total “white boxing” of an existing 200,000 square foot five story concrete superstructure.  LMPD’s new facility includes a phased construction timeline incorporating the complete installation of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and security systems.  Architectural components include vehicle deterrents, building ballistic improvements and interior finish construction to complete this state-of-the-art facility.

Calhoun also serving as a trade contractor on this project by furnishing and installing new metal stud framing, drywall and acoustical ceilings on the 4th floor of the building.  We will also be furnishing and installing geofoam filler and topping slab on the 3rd floor.  Miscellaneous site concrete and elevator pit sumps are included.
