The Louisville Metro Government and the Office of Facilities & Fleet Management chose Calhoun Construction Services to lead construction for their new $85,000,000 police headquarters.  Our reputation in building and managing high performing project teams was a cornerstone in being selected as the project’s Construction Manager.

The new facility included complete “white boxing” to an existing five story 200,000 sq ft office building, multi-story exterior curtainwall ballistic installation, vehicle deterrent improvements, extensive STC installation, advanced security systems, utility redundancy, elevator upgrades, and build-out for all department business cells.  The new state of the art headquarters provided LMPD with a centralized operations center and enhanced officer recruitment and retention.
