KSU Blazer Library Renovation
Kentucky State University (KSU) undertook a significant renovation of the Paul G. Blazer Library in Frankfort, Kentucky, to modernize its facilities and enhance the academic experience for students and faculty. This project encompassed comprehensive upgrades, including the replacement of outdated windows with energy-efficient aluminum systems, structural repairs to the building’s façade, and the installation of new flooring and ADA-compliant restrooms.
Calhoun Construction completed the renovation including improvements to the library’s HVAC and electrical systems, ensuring a comfortable and technologically advanced environment for research and study. Additionally, the project included enhancements to the library’s security system and the implementation of a state-of-the-art electrical information access and retrieval system.
