The Franklin County Health Department in Frankfort, Kentucky, has recently completed a comprehensive renovation of its Public Health Center, enhancing its capacity to serve the community with modernized facilities. Led by Calhoun Construction Services, the 11,700-square-foot project involved extensive interior and exterior upgrades, including the demolition of existing walls, installation of a new layout, updated lighting, HVAC systems, a new roof, and the addition of a canopy.

Designed by GRW Architecture, the renovation aimed to create a more efficient and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. The updated facility now better supports the department’s mission to provide essential public health services, reflecting a commitment to improving community health infrastructure in Franklin County.
