The City of Bardstown embarked on a transformative project with the groundbreaking of the Bardstown Aquatic and Sports Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance community recreation and wellness. This initiative reflects Bardstown’s commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive environment that promotes health, wellness, and community engagement for residents of all ages.

Calhoun was selected as the construction manager.  Spanning 80,000 square feet, the center will feature indoor swimming pools, multipurpose courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, an indoor walking track, fitness class studios, a café, and versatile community gathering spaces. Outdoor amenities include a splash pad and a modern playground, catering to children of varying ages and abilities.
