Scott County Public Schools, in partnership with Calhoun Construction, repurposed the former Scott County High School building into a modern middle school facility, addressing the district’s growing student population. Following the opening of the new high school in August 2024, the district invested in renovating the old high school building for middle school use. The renovation included upgrades to classrooms, common areas, and infrastructure to meet the needs of middle school students. This strategic move allows the district to optimize existing resources while providing enhanced educational environments for both high school and middle school students.
