Jewish Hospital MRI Replacement
This project consisted of preparing the existing MRI scan room and control room to make way for the removal of the existing GE 1.5T MRI system with a new Siemens 3T Vida MRI. The scope included demolition of the surrounding offices, break room and supply area to facilitate the removal of the existing MRI and bring in the new system. This also required the removal and replacement of an existing skylight that was required to provide access to fly the old system out and the new system into the scan room. This project also included a new 600 AMP power service feed from over 500 feet through the existing hospital to serve this new system, along with providing capacity for future MRI upgrades.
