AMC Manufacturing operates a full-service metal stamping facility that caters to any volume stamping project, large or small.  They have the capability to perform all types of stamping operations.  Whether Progressive, Compound, Draw, or Deep Draw, they can ensure your parts are produced with the highest quality of care that will meet the most stringent specifications.

Equipped with more than 20 presses ranging in speed up to 110 strokes per minute and a maximum bed capacity of 180” x 96”, the presses can be used with a wide variety of material types. To meet the specifications and quality that their customers expect, AMC Manufacturing provides a quality control staff equipped with state of the art tools such as a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) which allows them to maintain parts consistent with the specifications by delivering an accurate, repeatable, and expeditious process for checking parts.

Calhoun Construction served as the General Contractor installing a new press foundation in the active plant.  This included excavation for the pit, rebar, forming,  and sleeve installation.  In addition there was an additional pit for overflow steel coil metal that was excavated, formed, and poured.  All this was accomplished in two weeks while working in and around active operations.

Calhoun Construction served as a Trade Contractor on the $2.3 million expansion project for their Winchester, Kentucky location self performing the drywall and ceiling work.

Pearison Manufacturing

Pearison Manufacturing was founded by Chuck and Susan Pearison as Pearison Music Service, a small music store in Poseyville, Indiana. Located in a garage next to the Pearison’s home, the company with a staff of five sold and repaired musical instruments for schools. 1979 was the start of selling marching uniforms and accessories. These products were sold from a small black and white flyer that was mailed to three states under the name Band Shoppe.

Pearison Manufacturing Inc. is located in Cynthiana, Indiana and is the corporate headquarters for Band Shoppe, Superior Cheer and Superior Team Apparel.

Pearison Manufacturing is one of the largest manufacturers/retailers of Marching Band and Color Guard equipment and uniforms across the country…supplying school band uniforms, color guard, cheer all the way to the NFL uniforms… they started from humble beginnings to their present day success.

With a 20,000 square foot manufacturing addition we have expanded our facilities to 55,000 square feet. This expansion gives Band Shoppe the ability to make even more of our quality marching products right here in the USA!

Calhoun Construction Services served as a General Contractor for the Wyssmont Dryer Installation on the third and fourth floors of Plant A building in the Louisville, Kentucky facility. The scope of this project consisted of strengthening existing beams, infilling of existing openings with concrete slab-on-metal deck and the creation of new floor slab openings for the installation of a new dryer unit.
