The University of Louisville’s Trager Center indoor practice facility is located just north of Cardinal Stadium. The indoor practice facility features a 120-yard FieldTurf field, a 100-meter four-lane sprint track, pole vault and long jump pits, as well as, batting cages for both baseball and softball. It’s also equipped for the soccer, field hockey and lacrosse teams to use.

The 90,068 square foot facility has 85,440 square feet of playing surface with 5,168 square feet of building support, consisting of restroom facilities, offices and a lobby. The facility has a clear width of 202 feet, a clear length of 402 feet and stands 65 feet tall. It is heated by a natural gas-fired units, and ventilation is a push/pull system via dampers and ventilating fans.

Calhoun Construction served as the Construction Manager, in 2021-2022 adding 6 new large overhead doors to help with airflow.
