Calhoun Construction served as the Construction Manager / General Contractor on the new 26,000 SF refrigerated cold room inside existing GMP distribution warehouse. Project includes interior structural upgrades to support new cold room and new exterior mechanical yard. Also included, is an entirely new MEP infrastructure to support cold room, which includes 6 custom ammonia chillers and electrical switchgear. Long-Lead equipment procured internationally and stateside during COVID-19 pandemic. Zero schedule impacts due to COVID-19 as a result of early planning and scheduling.
